The Drop In Skate Clinic! June 18th 2023

Everything you need to know about the Drop In Skate Clinic presented by Pigeon's Roller Skate Shop and Huck Skate Supply. 

$55 per skater. Includes LUNCH! Woohoo! Omnivore, Vegetarian and Vegan options are available. Lunch selected is chosen at registration. 

Designed for Beginner to Intermediate Skaters with some Advanced classes.

Location: ETNIES SKATEPARK 
Times: 9am to 7pm
Ages: 8 and up

Lunch: Free with registration. Additional food vendors on site. 

TIMELINE: Arrive 8:30am to park and register if you'd like to do yoga. 

9am Yoga
10am First Class
11am Second Class
12pm-1pm LUNCH BREAK :)
1pm Third Class
2pm Fourth Class
3pm Fifth Class
4pm Sixth Class
5pm Seventh Class
6pm Yoga

7pm End of event, congrats on leveling up!

WHAT TO BRING:
WATER - We suggest a gallon or a refillable bottle. 
GEAR - Helmets, knee pads and elbows are required by Etnies. We also highly suggest wrist guards. 
ROLLER SKATES - Any brand, any style, let's roll! If you need skates of your own visit Pigeonskates.com or in person at Pigeon's Roller Skate Shop in Long Beach. No skate rentals available for this event. For intermediate and advanced classes, harder wheels like these park wheels are highly recommended. 
SNACKS - While we are serving lunch, it will be a long day. You will need to recharge periodically with water and nutrients. We suggest bananas, protein bars or other non perishable high density nutrient foods.
SUN PROTECTION: Sun screen, visors, sun glasses, long sleeve coverings, etc. 

PARKING:
Parking is on the street nearby. Follow the signs for Skatepark Parking or use the Home Depot Lot. There are nature trail walkways to the skatepark directly from The Home Depot parking lot across the street, and also from the hotels along Towne Center Pkwy. This is called the Serrano Creek Trail and is a convenient way to access the skatepark from many parking locations. 
HOTEL:
There are 3 hotels that connect to the skatepark via the Serrano Creek Trail. Walking distance is less than 1/4 mile.
